This page explains what happens to the information you give this website. It is written plainly and it is accurate — if something here stops being true, it gets changed.

What is collected

Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, organisation, email address, phone number if you give one, and the details of your event. Nothing else is asked for in the form. Like almost every website, the host also records standard technical information when a page is requested (see below).

What it is used for

Answering your enquiry. That is the whole purpose. Your details are not sold, rented, traded or shared with third parties for marketing.

Your email address is used only to reply to you about your enquiry. You will not be added to a mailing list.

Your event details are treated as confidential

Enquiries often involve events that have not been announced. What you write in the form is not published, forwarded or discussed outside the people responding to you.

Where it goes

Form submissions are processed by Netlify, which hosts this website, and are emailed to Gabriella's team. Netlify stores submissions on servers outside Australia. Netlify's own privacy notice is at netlify.com/privacy.

Analytics and cookies

This website sets no cookies and uses no advertising or social media trackers. There is no Google Analytics and no advertising pixel.

Visits are counted with Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly service hosted in the European Union. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal information and does not follow you to other websites. It records anonymous, aggregate figures such as page views, referring sites, country and device type.

Like any web server, Netlify (the host) logs technical details of each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. These logs are used for security and to produce aggregate visitor counts and referring sites. They are not used to build a profile of you or follow you to other websites.

The site’s typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser also requests font files from Google, which receives your IP address in the process. Google’s privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.

Keeping it, and getting rid of it

Enquiries are kept while they are useful — an event being planned, a client being worked with — and deleted when they are not. If you want your details removed, ask and they will be.
